How to license our NinjaTrader algos

After you bought and downloaded one of our algos on this site, we will ask you to provide us your NinjaTrader Machine ID so that we can create the license of the algo for your machine.

Following are instructions to generate your unique Machine ID which will be tied to your computer:

Go to the NinjaTrader Control Center, then click Help < 3rd party licensing
In the field Vendor Name type "HorizonAlgo"
In User defined ID input any text, up to you, that identifies you or your machine, for example "JohnSmithLaptop"
Press the Submit button. This will generate a new key which links the user defined ID with your local NinjaTrader Machine ID
Copy the generated key and send it to info@horizon-algo.com
Processing takes up to 24 hours. After we created your license, we will send you the confirmation. Afterwards, you can use the lifetime license on your corresponding machine

In case a machine is changed and you want to use the license on your new computer, repeat steps 1-6. After the new key is generated, just send us a message via info@horizon-algo.com. Please indicate your new Machine ID as well as the old machine ID that needs to be replaced. We will create a new license for your new machine. The license on the old machine is no longer valid then.

How to license our MetaTrader 5 algos

After you bought one of the MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors on this site, you will be able to download the ZIP-file which contains the MQL5 program together with a Readme file for installation instructions.

Please do the following after you have downloaded and extracted the ZIP-file.

1) Write an email to info@horizon-algo.com with the following information:

A maximum of five MetaTrader 5 account numbers that you would like to use this EA with
The corresponding MT5 server names for each account

2) In your MT5 settings, navigate to the "Expert Adisors" tab. Check the box "Allow WebRequest for listed URL:" and add the following link to the list: https://license.horizon-algo.com/webhook/validation

We will activate the license(s) for the corresponding account number/server name combination and send you a confirmation via email. Afterwards, you can install the MQL5 file in your MT5 terminal and add the Expert Advisor to your MT5 chart to start trading with it.

Adding additional account numbers afterwards

In case you did not use your full five slots of account numbers on your initial request, you can still have additional account numbers added by us at a later point in time. Just contact us via the contact form on our website or via info@horizon-algo.com. In that case, we will activate your license(s) within 3 business days.
