Yes, that's right. You only pay once for the strategy and own a lifetime license. No monthly subscriptions, no other catch.

This process is split into four phases. In phase 1, we brainstorm and research about new market approaches and strategies with potential edge. In phase 2, we begin with the actual development process of the strategy concept. In phase 3, we conduct extensive tests of the new strategy while constantly optimizing the risk parameters and performance potential. This test is conducted over a period of multiple months in our simulated test environment. In phase 4, we transition our strategy to live trading to verify that the performance as seen in the simulated environment matches with the live performance. As soon as all quality requirements are met, the strategy is released to the public.

You can trade our strategies with all account sizes that meet the minimum margin/maintenance requirements of your broker. For our MetaTrader 5 EAs, you can trade with as little as $100, depending on the allowed leverage of your broker and minimum deposit amount. The minimum account size we recommend for our NinjaTrader strategies is $4000, considering that the lot sizes and risk parameters are set accordingly.

At the moment, we support strategies for MetaTrader 5 and NinjaTrader 8.

We do not offer trial periods unfortunately.

Absolutely! The strategies are primarily designed for funded account trading, as they allow you to define risk and consistency management parameters as required by prop firms. These parameters include daily profit goals, daily loss limits and a maximum amount of trades taken per day, which is especially useful for scalping strategies on shorter timeframes. Just make sure your prop firm allows algorithmic trading in their rules.

The NinjaTrader Machine ID is a combination of the ID from your local NinjaTrader instance and an identifier that you define yourself. To gererate the NinjaTrader Machine ID for your license, you can check the following link for step by step instructions: https://horizon-algo.com/licensing

For NinjaTrader strategies, repeat steps 1 - 6 from the instructions on https://horizon-algo.com/licensing to generate a new Machine ID. After the new key is generated, just send us a message via info@horizon-algo.com. Please indicate your new Machine ID as well as the old Machine ID that needs to be replaced. We will create a new license for your new machine. The license on the old machine is then no longer valid.

Our MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors are not linked to your hardware, therefore you can simply install your licensed EA on the MT5-Terminal on your new machine.

We recommend an updated version of NinjaTrader 8 (for NinjaTrader strategies) or MetaTrader 5 (for MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisors). You can run our strategies on your personal local computer or choose to deploy them using a Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosted by a VPS provider of your choice (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure etc.).
